CS GYPSY HORSES is a small family run farm that is owned and founded by Cara Simmons. She is Training & raising horses with connection based methods. As well as doing high quality equine photography, consulting (and much more!). Cara has a small, home bred and raised, herd of Gypsy Horses (also known as Gypsy Vanners, Gypsy Cobs, Irish Cobs, Tinkers, etc).
She is focused majorly on not only the training quality, over the quantity of the training done, but also making sure to establish a strong trust-bond relationship with the horses in her care. As well as keeping in mind the vision that the Romani people had strived for in the beautiful Gypsy horse breed when it was created.. She are highly selective in what horses she adds to her program, and has trained, and photographed all the horses at our farm as well.
Though her herd of Gypsies may be small compared to most, Cara has some of the most willing, kind and beautiful horses. With good training, good minds and of course quality conformation. Her horses have proven themselves in the show ring and on the farm, winning many ribbons in performance classes and getting jobs done here when needed to, and on her ranch. But most importantly the horses in her care learn to trust, love and respect their people.
Cara’s horses capture exactly what the Gypsy breed was intended for. With Strong bones, thick and powerful bodies, hair, and most of all a kind, gentle, and willing temperament.
